The Assignment Link for Week Ten is Active.

This week, your King rhetorical analysis/research paper will be on hold as you complete a mid-term reflective learning analysis.  Details--as always--are spelled out on the assignments page for the week.

This reflective learning analysis will not only help you reflect on and become conscious of what you have learned and your performance in the course to date, it also acts as a rough draft you can develop as the cover essay for your final portfolio for the course.  Keep it up to date throughout the rest of the course, and the only thing you'll have to do for your portfolio is collect evidence and turn the portfolio in.  All the portfolio is is a reflective learning essay--a refined version of the one you write this week--for the full semester plus a collection of the evidence you use to support the points you make in your reflective essay.  In short, this week's work is good practice for later.

As always, write with questions, and feel free to get your group (and me) to help you work through early drafts of this essay.

Steve

PS  As a final note for the week, remember, Thursday 25 March is the last day to withdrawal from a course with a grade of "W."  If I can help with this decision for our 112, please do get in touch.
